April 27, 2017 BIKES, BLUES AND BBQ SUPPORTS LAW ENFORCEMENT CONTINUING EDUCATION

The Fayetteville Police Department is continually committed to ensuring a safe and successful Bikes Blues and BBQ rally for all future festival attendees. To assist in achieving this goal, the Fayetteville Police Department has partnered with Bike Blues and BBQ to send police officers to the Laughlin River Run in Laughlin, NV, being held April 26-29, 2017. The purpose of this trip is to have Fayetteville Police personnel partner with their counterparts in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and the Clark County (Nevada) Sheriff’s Office to enhance our techniques and methods specific to motorcycle rallies. The Laughlin River Run is one of the largest rallies in the country and will provide an opportunity for Fayetteville Police Department personnel to observe, network, and learn new methods that cannot be duplicated in a classroom environment.

The Fayetteville Police Department would like to thank Bikes, Blues and BBQ for their support and cooperation to help ensure a safe event for the citizens of Fayetteville and those who attend the rally. We look forward to a continued partnership that is beneficial to everyone involved with the Bikes Blues and BBQ rally.
