The 2008 Rally was the Best Yet!

Thank You for Making Bikes,Blues & BBQ 2008 a Huge Success!

The 9th annual Bikes, Blues & BBQ rally has come and gone, and this year’s rally was even better than expected. Thousands of people from all over the United States and several other countries filled Northwest Arkansas to enjoy some of the best riding, blues music and BBQ available. Every indication is that this year’s attendance was up from previous years.

Bikes, Blues & BBQ is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and has donated over $500,000 to local charities since 2000. In 2007, over $100,000 was donated to 27 charities. It is our hope that this year’s rally has once again been able to raise over $100,000 and that everyone was able to enjoy some of the best motorcycle riding, blues music and barbeque in the country.

This year’s rally offered a line up of awesome events:

  • Over 35 bands played for FREE on two stages. Additionally, the legendary Allman Brothers Band put on an amazing show at The Randal Tyson Track Center on Friday night.
  • Great raffle items including a Harley-Davidson Rocker C motorcycle, a $5,000 paint job from O's in Memphis, a Gibson acoustic guitar and an N'tense toy hauler were given away on the main stage on Saturday night.
  • Boss Hoss, Harley-Davison, Kawasaki, Star, and Victory all offered demo rides on their newest bikes.
  • World famous custom builders such as Choppers, Inc., Orange County Choppers, Voodoo Choppers, and Big Dog Choppers all had some of their newest and baddest creations available to purchase or just look at.
  • The KCBS BBQ Cook-Off and Tyson Foods People’s Choice competition were both great successes that raised money for local charities.
  • And much, much more
