The first Bikes, Blues & BBQ Destination Ride was a blast!!! We greatly appreciate our sponsors: The Pied Piper & Cathouse Lounge, 104.9 the X, and Coors for helping make the ride possible! We’d also like to thank those bikers who were able to accompany us on such a beautiful day!!
The first stop, the VA Hospital Returning Veterans Salute at Prairie Creek, was awesome!! A big thanks to 104.9 the X for the music, food and most of all, PATRIOTISM!!
We departed with a big “HOO RAH” Salute to the Vets and arrived at the Cathouse just in time to see the Arkansas Razorbacks win their first game in the College World Series. GO HOGS!!
After the game, we grabbed a bite to eat and let me tell you, when the menu says “World Famous Reuben,” believe it! So if you’ve never ate at the Pied Piper, put it on your to-do list. Great Food, Cold Drinks, and Awesome Folks!!
We would also like to thank Benjamin Del Shreve for playing for us at the Pied Piper! They had 2 other gigs that day throughout the area, so it was nice of them to take time and rock out for us!!
Stay tuned as we will be riding to destinations throughout the year!! Again, a huge THANK YOU TO THE PIED PIPER & CATHOUSE INN, 104.9 THE X, AND COORS for helping make this all possible!!
Stay tuned to the blog for more info on the destination rides we’ll be having once a month up until the rally!!

Bikes, Blues & BBQ announced today that they will again be bringing some of the best regional and local acts together to perform live on two stages at this year’s 10th Anniversary motorcycle rally.
“We’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback from rally attendees about having live music on two different stages at different areas of the rally,” said Nelson Driver, Event Director of Bikes, Blues & BBQ. “This year, we’re going to continue that set up with the Main Stage at the Walton Arts Center parking lot and the Southern Stage at the Randal Tyson Track Center,” said Driver.
The bands begin playing as soon as the rally kicks off on Wednesday, September 23rd at 5:00 p.m. and play each day until the rally concludes on Saturday night, September 26th. There will be nearly 30 bands that will perform live for rally attendees over the course of the rally. Here is the music schedule!

New to Bikes, Blues & BBQ this year are Destination Rides. The purpose of the rides is to raise a little money for local charities and have fun enjoying some of the best riding in the United States. We will sponsor one ride each month from now until the rally.
The first Bikes, Blues & BBQ Destination Ride is scheduled for this Saturday, June 13. Sponsored by The X – 104.9, Coors and the Pied Piper & Cathouse Lounge, the ride will leave the Walton Arts Center parking lot in Fayetteville at 10:30 a.m., Saturday morning.
The first stop is the VA Hospital Returning Veterans Salute at Prairie Creek where there will be live music, FREE food and soft drinks.
From there we will ride to the Pied Piper in Eureka Springs where there will be more music and fun from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
To help support the mission of Bikes, Blues & BBQ, giving back to local charities, we are asking for a $5 donation or whatever you can give. While a donation is NOT required, it is surely appreciated.
So, come out, bring your friends, laugh, thank a Veteran and enjoy the best riding around.
If you have any questions, please contact the Bikes, Blues & BBQ office at info@bikesbluesandbbq.org or 479-527-9993.
Thanks to our sponsors and let’s ride!

For those that didn’t know, The Ride for Hospice proceeds will benefit the Circle of Life Organization. Here is the Circle of Life’s Mission:
Our mission is to provide medical, emotional and spiritual care to Northwest Arkansas residents facing a life-limiting illness. Circle of Life Hospice provides sensitive support for the patient’s family as well with bereavement support groups and on-site social workers. The hospice team recognizes that each patient is an individual, with different symptoms and different needs. Circle of Life serves patients in their own homes, at nursing facilities, or in the Earlene Howard Hospice Home. An important part of hospice is that patients and families decide what care is right for them. Our patients receive individually tailored care from an interdisciplinary team that includes nurses, medical social workers, home health aides, bereavement counselors, chaplains, medical directors and specially trained volunteers. The volunteers and staff work each day to bring comfort and peace of mind to every patient. Treating the whole person…body, mind and spirit…is the focus at Circle of Life Hospice. It is because of community support that Circle of Life is able to provide families and patients with more options when caring for a loved one. Circle of Life is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who serves on average, 130 patients in the field and 16 patients in the home on a weekly basis.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is for a great cause and we hope you and yours will be able to make it this Saturday!
