Benefit Concert for Arkansas veteran Rick Brown Sept. 28 at George’s Majestic Lounge – Headliner Dave Mason

Dave Mason – He’s a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a founding member of “Traffic”, and the writer of numerous hit songs including “Feelin’ Alright” and “We Just Disagree”.  And he’s lending his talents to benefit one of America’s military heros, Rick Brown, who was injured on active duty and is now suffering from permanent severe seizure disorder, TBI, and PTSD.

The show is at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, Wednesday, Sept. 28.  Tickets are $25 each for general admission.  And there’s a very limited supply of private table tickets (a private table for four, four  tickets, and a special “eat and greet” with Dave Mason and his band held from 6:00-7:00) for $250.    Doors open at 7:00;  show begins at 8:00.

Demo Rides

Be sure and check out the factory demo rides at the Baum Stadium Motorcycle Village.  Can Am, Harley-Davidson, Suzuki, Victory, and Yamaha will all be there.

Simply bring your license and a helmet and you’re in business.  Bradford marine and ATV even invites you to bring your bike and title for a trade-in.  They have “on the spot financing” and can have you on the road in less than an hour on a new Spider.

Concerts at Bikes Blues and BBQ

Concerts at Bikes Blues and BBQ

The Arkansas Music Pavilion at the NWA Mall is producing two concerts for the rally this year.

On Thursday, Sept. 29, 90’s rock sensation Candlebox will be performing their hits like “You” and “Far Away”, as well as all of the others.

Then, Friday, Sept. 30, award winning country artist Jamey Johnson will light up the stage with his special outlaw country show.  The heir apparent to David Allen Coe, Johnson’s songs transcend modern country and takes the audience back to the roots of the best form of American music.  If you see one show this year, this is the one!
